Culturally, Nepal is incredibly diverse, with over 125 ethnic groups and more than 100 spoken languages, while Hinduism and Buddhism are the dominant religions.

This trip begins in Kathmandu Valley with exploring the its rich cultural and historical heritage. After your time in Kathmandu, we take a short and scenic flight to Pokhara, a picturesque valley known for its natural beauty. From Pokhara, we embark on the Mardi Himal Trek, a short yet breathtaking trek in the Annapurna region. The trail leads through traditional mountain villages, scenic ridges, lush green forests, and alpine meadows, offering stunning Himalayan views and an unforgettable trekking experience.

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrival in Kathmandu and check in your designated hotel, there are no schedule program today. But of that day but if time permits and want to wonder around, can customize!

Day 02

Explore Kathmandu valley

Today, we set out to explore the cultural and historical treasures of Kathmandu Valley. Our recommended itinerary includes Swayambhu Nath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Patan Durbar Square – all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Our tour begins from Swayambhu Nath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, home to many rhesus macaques. This ancient Buddhist stupa, perched atop a hill, offers panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley, glimpses of the Himalayas (weather permitting), and deep spiritual significance.

Next, we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic royal palace complex renowned for its intricate medieval architecture, beautifully carved temples, and courtyards. Here, we also get a chance to see the residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari.

From there, we head to Patan Durbar Square, famous for its exquisite Newari craftsmanship, stunning temples, and palace structures. We will also explore the Patan Museum, which beautifully showcases Nepal’s rich artistic heritage. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to experience a Singing Bowl studio, where you can learn about this ancient healing practice.

Day 03

Kathmandu – Pokhara - Pritam Deurali, 6200ft, 3-4 hrs trek

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the domestic airport for a 25-minute scenic flight to Pokhara. Upon landing in the picturesque Pokhara Valley, we will drive for about one hour to Kande, where our trek begins. The trail starts from the small village of Kande, gradually ascending through terraced fields and forests to an open area known as Thulokharka. This spot is popular for day hikes and overnight stays and is an excellent location for raptor migration watching. Thulokharka also offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna Himalayas. From here, a gentle 40-minute walk leads us to our destination, Pothana. Or another 30 minutes to Pritam Deurali.

Day 04

Pritam Deurali – Forest Camp, 8650ft, 5-6hrs trek

Rise early to witness the sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayas, as the golden glow illuminates the peaks, while the chorus of montane birds creates a peaceful atmosphere. After breakfast, we begin our trek, which takes us through dense forests dominated by rhododendron trees and oaks. Along the trail, we will encounter small tea shops, perfect for a hot drink or snack. As we continue, we’ll pass through open areas offering breathtaking glimpses of the Himalayas. The trek also provides excellent opportunities for forest birdwatching and observing local plants. Our destination is a small, tranquil area with a few trekking lodges surrounded by lush vegetation.

Day 05

Forest Camp – Badal dada, 3,210 meters (10,660 feet) 5-6 hrs. walk

Today After breakfast Trek, you’ll continue your ascent from Forest Camp to Badal Danda. The journey takes about 5-6 hours and is filled with captivating natural beauty. Leaving the serene Forest Camp behind, you’ll trek through lush rhododendron and oak forests. As you climb higher, the dense forest starts to thin out, gradually giving way to more open and expansive views. The trail to Badal Danda is moderately challenging but extremely rewarding. Upon reaching Badal Danda, you’ll be greeted with panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. This viewpoint offers stunning vistas of the Annapurna range, including the majestic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and other towering peaks. Badal Danda, meaning “Cloud Hill,” is aptly named for its breathtaking cloud formations and spectacular scenery. Here, you can relax, take in the stunning mountain views, and prepare for the exciting journey ahead. Badal Dada-High Camp 3,550 meters (11,647 feet)3-4hrs. walk

Rise early to witness the sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayas.you’ll begin on the most exhilarating part of the Mardi Himal Trek, reaching to the High Camp. The day begins early as you start your ascent from Badal Danda. The trek to High Camp. As we climb the ridge becomes narrower, and you can see the deep valleys on both sides. To your left, you will be looking straight down on the Modi Khola River valley alongside villages that lead up to the Annapurna Sanctuary. To our right, you will see the Mardi Khola and Seti River valleys. On clear days, you can even see Pokhara Valley. We continue walking the narrow ridgeline to High Camp (3550m), where we stop for the night.

Day 07

High Camp – Mardi View Point – Low Camp, 9750ft, 5/6hrs walk

High Camp is one of the most beautiful spots on the Mardi Himal Trek, offering breathtaking views. From here, the trail becomes challenging as it ascends through barren alpine landscapes, but the effort is rewarded with stunning panoramas of the Himalayas, especially the iconic Machapuchare (Fishtail). After spending some time at Mardi Himal Base Camp, we will return to High Camp. From there, the journey continues with a descent toward Low Camp, offering a change of scenery as we move back into the rhododendron forests.

Day 08

Low Camp – Sidding Village, 9750ft, 3/4 hrs. walk  

Today’s trek is mostly a descent, taking us through dense forests dominated by rhododendron and oak trees. As we leave the alpine terrain behind, the trail winds down through a lush, green landscape, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills, terraced fields, and valleys. The path is steep in sections, so careful footing is needed, but the serene forest and birdsong make for a peaceful journey.

Our destination, Sidding Village, is a small, picturesque Gurung settlement nestled in the foothills. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to experience local culture, interact with friendly villagers, and observe their traditional lifestyle. The village provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax and reflect on the journey through the Mardi Himal region.

Day 09

Sidding Village – Pokhara drive.

After breakfast and spending a leisure morning, we will drive to Pokhara. Begain with rough road and later its road gets better. Drive is about 2hrs max. Once we reached Pokhara, we will discuss for visiting the places such wounder around Lakeside itself, boating in Phewa Lake or visiting International Mountain Museum, visiting Tibetan Camp etc.

Day 10

Pokhara – Kathmandu by flight

We have a whole morning to explore or rest. there are some options to explore such as World Peace Stupa and also endemic bird searching etc. late afternoon, we will fly to Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing / Explore

After breakfast, we drive 8 miles east to Bhaktapur, a city renowned as a living museum of Nepalese art, architecture, and culture. This ancient city is home to stunning pagoda-style temples, including the Nyatapola Temple—the tallest in Nepal—along with the 55-Window Palace, the Golden Gate, and intricately carved wooden and stone artworks. Bhaktapur is also famous for its Newari culture and vibrant festivals, celebrated with rich traditions.

Optional experiences in Bhaktapur include visiting a Thangka Painting School, trying your hand at pottery, or exploring a paper-making factory—each offering a glimpse into local craftsmanship.

After exploring Bhaktapur, we drive to the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most revered Buddhist stupas in the world. Built in a mandala design, it features a massive white dome and a golden spire adorned with Buddha’s eyes, symbolizing peace and enlightenment. This sacred site is a spiritual hub where pilgrims gather for meditation, prayer, and to pay homage to Buddha.
