The Annapurna Dhaulagiri Panorama Trek is a hidden gem in the Annapurna region, offering a peaceful alternative to the busier trekking routes. This journey takes you through traditional villages, untouched forests, and breathtaking ridgelines, culminating at Khopra Danda (3,660 m) —a spectacular viewpoint with panoramic Himalayan vistas of Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri. the Annapurna region offers unspoiled natural beauty and views of numerous snowcapped peaks and exposure to the amazing Gurung and magar culture.

The moderately difficult Annpurna Dhaulagiri Trek takes you to Nangi Village (2300m) located between Beni and Poon Hill and Khopra located just north of Ghorepani in the Annapurna region. Nangi Village is making a name for itself as a sustainable and eco-friendly village that offers locals vocational courses in sustainable agriculture. It even has a small cottage industry that makes paper!  Khopra d (3660m) is remote and offers some of the best panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Massifs. The Dhaulagiri Massif is 120km in length.Most of the accommodation on the trek is in a homestay with local families, lodges, and community-run lodges specifically created to ensure less commercialism and to further enhance this region as an eco-tourism destination. you will see these woolly animals grazing in alpine pastures. 15 Days • Itinerary Overview

Day 01

Arrival Kathmandu (1400m)

Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Trip briefing will be held depending on arrival time.

Day 02

Kathmandu Temples and Palaces visit / Final trek preparation / relax

We begin the day by visiting the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu valley. We will finalize near the date. Purpose Sight is Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is historic, architectural and cultural landmark. After visiting there, we will Boudhanath Stupa, a magnificent Buddhist monument and it’s one the largest stupa in the world. Next, will head to Hindu Temple – Pashupatinath which is one the most sacred Hindu Temple in the world and were you can observe the live cremation by the riverbed.

Lunch will be in the sight-seeing spots.  After sightseeing, we return to the hotel for gear checks and an early dinner to prepare for tomorrow’s trek.

Note: Alternative options, you can also explore other UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, known for ancient architecture, living goddess – Kumari or Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple) offering a panoramic views of Kathmandu valley and Patan Durbar Square, known for its ancient architecture.

Day 03

Kathmandu – Pokhara (800m)

After having your breakfast, we will drive you to the Domestic Airport. We take an early morning 30 minutes flight to Pokhara and enjoy amazing views of the Himalayas from the right side of your plane. Or you can take a Tourist bus to Pokhara about 6–7-hour drive via scenic Prithivi Highway enjoying short stops for lunch and breakfast and scenic beauty all the way around. Check in to the hotel, after freshen up, guide will take to peace stupa for short hike crossing fewa lake by small raw board. Then climb up to peace stupa, hike after half hour and back down to davids falls and gupteswer cave to visit, descending one hour.     Overnight at hotel to start the Annapurna Dhaulagiri trek.

Day 04

Pokhara- Galeshwor (900m) – Bashkharka (1526m) 5hrs.

Today, you will travel from Pokhara to Galeshwor in a private jeep. Before beginning your walk, you may also go to the Galeshwor Lord Shiva Temple, which is regarded as one of the 15 holiest pilgrimage places in the world by the ancient holy book Srimad Bhagwat Maha Purana. After crossing the suspension bridge over the Kaligandaki River, the main trek will begin, leading to the Bans Kharka across terraced fields and up into the forest. On the way we will see big orange farm. After 3 to 4 hours of walking, you will eventually reach a stunning settlement. The remaining time may be spent visiting the hamlet and learning about the Magar community’s culture and way of life.

Day 05

Bashkhrka – Nangi village (2300m) 5 to 6hrs.

Today will rise through the woodland and farm terrace today. It will take 3 hours to reach the small settlement of Danda Kateri, where you will enjoy lunch while taking in the stunning scenery and Kaligandaki valley vista. After lunch, you will take a leisurely stroll to Nangi Village, where you will spend the night in a community lodge. The communal eco-lodge trip is the ideal illustration of how members of a community may work together to achieve a shared objective.

Hikers will get inspired by examples like these of how people can work together and interact for sustainable development by utilizing local resources and strengths. One of the instances is the community-based Himanchal High School, a notable example of a model school. Day 06

Nangi village – Mohare Danda (3300m) 6 to 7hrs.

After a delicious breakfast at the Nangi community Lodge, your trekking route will ascend through a wonderful, natural forest, providing amazing views of snow-capped mountains, including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m). After 4 hours ascending, we will reach at Dimsha, where we can have Lunch. To reach Mohare Danda, one must complete a difficult 6- to 7-hour walk. While wandering through oak and rhododendron woods, groves of bamboo, and other beautiful scenery, you will be treated to some beautiful landscapes.

You can see the whole expanse of the Himalayas such as Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri, in the distance, from the summit of Mohare Hill. You can expect to see yaks grazing on nearby paths in the Kharka (Pasture Land). The primary destination for today on this Mohare Danda and Khopra Ridge Community Trek is Mohare Danda, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the dawn and sunset over the majestic mountains from the accommodation.

Day 07

Mohare – Swata Village (2250m) 5hrs.

Early in the morning we wake for sun rise and beautiful mountain’s view form here you can see 360 dirge Mountain view than we can have breakfast. After breakfast we Start our journey by walking through trial surrounded by rhododendron, pine, oak trees we will hear see various species of birds on our way to Swanta. Swanta (2,250m) is standing at bottom of Annapurna south & along a green valley. Swanta is a small, perfect place for rest with nice hot shower maybe. There are also good lodges in this place which offers a best food you might find in your visit to Nepal.

Day 08

Swata – Dhankharka (Chistibung) (3000 m) 5 hrs.

After having breakfast we start our trek to Dhan Kharka, the trail goes through beautiful forests of Oak, Bamboo and Rhododendrons with magnificent view of mount Dhaulagiri. After 2 hours walk, we will cross the small wooden bridge than we will see small hydropower and water fall. Then we will be ascending to dhankharka. Evening, we observe glorious sunset view with beautiful valleys and villages.

Day 09

Dhankharka (Chistibung) – Khopra Danda (3660m)

After breakfast, trek to Khopra Danda (3,600m). Khopra danda trails goes through pretty with Rhododendron Forest. A ridge after a few hours of steadily ascending, you should be on the lookout for Himalayan tahr and Danfe pheasant because this area is known for its biodiversity. The greatest strategy for climbing is to make a steady ascent while taking your time and stopping whenever you need to. This ridge will offer you one of the best panorama views of Dhaulagiri range, Nilgiri and Annapurna Fang with the wolrd deepest Kaligandaki George between Annapauran-I and Dhaulagiri-I. Day 10

Khopra Danda – Khyer Lake(4600m) – Khopra Danda(3660m) 9-10hrs.

Today we have to wake up early in the morning to visit khyer lake. You have a remarkable and difficult day today. It is remarkable because you will arrive at Khayer Lake, the highest point of the Annapurna Dhaulagiri Panorama Trek 4660 meters above sea level. Additionally, it is challenging because you must walk for almost ten hours straight to get to the highest point and back to Khopra Ridge. At the base of Annapurna South, there is a holy lake called Khayer Lake. For both Buddhists and Hindus, it is a significant place of pilgrimage.

It is thought that taking a bath in the Khayer Lake and visiting the Khayer Barahi Temple can aid you in achieving Nirvana. Amazing views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Nilgiri can be seen from the Khayer Lake valley, which is located at an elevation of 4660 meters.

Day 11

Khopra Danda – Dobate(3350m) 6-7hrs.

Today, the route leading from Khopra to Dobato on the Annapurna Dhaulagiri Panoram Trek is more picturesque as it passes through an oak and rhododendron forest. However, there may be substantial snowfall if you go hiking in early spring or late autumn. The Khopra Danda to Dobato journey is a superb example of a unique trek package that takes you deep into the Annapurna area on an undiscovered hiking track. The gentle descent on the trail takes around 6 to 7 hours to complete. The greatest location to view the dawn over Mount Dhaulagiri is Dobato, which is located at an elevation of 3350m. To get to Dobato, you must hike through picturesque communities like Chistibang and Bayeli.

Day 12

Dobato – Mulde hill(3637m) – Ghandruk (1940M) 6hrs

Today we will be wake up early in the morning than we will hike up Mundai hill just beside the village. It is worth to visit and best place for panorama views and Sunrise you can see. The views from here even much better than the famous toruristic place Poonhill.

After breakfast trek continue to Ghandruk (1,940m) we will pass through a thick rhododendron tree and after walking for approximately 6 hours, we will reach Ghandruk. Ghandruk is an undulated settlement occupied by houses made up of stones and it is mostly occupied by the Gurung inhabitants. In Ghandruk, the close-up soaring views of Fishtail, Hiunchuli mountains, Annapurna South, and more will allure you again. Here, we will explore around the village and also visit the Gurung Museum to understand about culture and tradition of the Gurung inhabitants.

Day 13

Gandruk- Kimche- Pokhara (800m) 4hrs

Your final day of the Annapurna Dhaulagiri Panorama Trek Itinerary will start when you leave Ghandruk and descend down to Kimche. You will have a short rest in Kimche before taking a vehicle back to Pokhara through birethathati, Nayapul, Lumle village. Then we will arrive Pokhara and rest.
