Manaslu Circuit Trek is categorized as one of the best adventure treks in Nepal. It combines the high Himalayas and their natural beauty with rich cultural heritage and biological diversity. Manaslu, located east of the Annapurna range, is the eighth-highest peak in the world and has been open to foreigners since 1992. Manaslu Circuit Trek is a laborious trek that demands experience and good physical well-The Manaslu trek ascends through the Budi Gandaki River, offering numerous rivers and waterfalls to Larkya La Pass (5106 m), the highest point in the Manaslu Trek, providing striking views of Himalchuli, Manaslu (8163 m), Ganesh Himal and other various mountains.En route, diverse landscapes, and a variety in flora and fauna amaze anyone. The laborious part of trekking along the Manaslu circuit starts from Samagoan (3520 m) where you could get lucky to see the freezing green lake of Birendra. Remains majestically secluded from the crowds. While similar in some aspects to the Annapurna Circuit, the Manaslu trek takes place in a less-traveled valley, providing an authentic and immersive experience.The recent construction of lodges has allowed this circuit to evolve over the years. The gompa (monastery) of Sama, nestled in an amphitheater at the foot of Mt. Manaslu, marks the entrance into Buddhist territory. The Larkya Pass (5,106 meters), the highest point of the route, features a gentle slope before plunging abruptly into the lower valleys. The trek offers superb panoramas and typical villages inhabited by various ethnic groups.

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

At Kathmandu airport’s arrival terminal, on your arrival day in Kathmandu, you will be received by the representative staff from Nepal Nature Trek with proper greeting. You will be taken to the hotel where you have your time to settle in and freshen up. At evening will be short trip briefing and introduction with your trekking guide.

Day 02

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing (1400m)

We begin the day by visiting the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu valley. We will finalize near the date. Purpose Sight is Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is historic, architectural and cultural landmark. After visiting there, we will Boudhanath Stupa, a magnificent Buddhist monument and it’s one the largest stupa in the world. Next, will head to Hindu Temple – Pashupatinath which is one the most sacred Hindu Temple in the world and were you can observe the live cremation by the riverbed.Lunch will be in the sight-seeing spots.  After sightseeing, we return to the hotel for gear checks and an early dinner to prepare for tomorrow’s trek.

Day 03

Kathmandu – Machhakhola (890m) 7 to 8hrs.

Today, early with breakfast before starting your trek through the Himalayas. Drive Along the Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway head west along the Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway, traveling to Dhading Besi. From there, you’ll ascend through Soti Khola and pass rural areas, small villages, grassy rooftops, and lush hilltops. As the road turns into a rugged dirt path, take in stunning views of the southern slopes of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang Himal. After 7-8-hour drive, arrive at Macha Khola (890 m) in the Budhi Gandaki Valley. Overnight Stay: Settle in for the night at a nearby lodge.

Day 04

Machhakhola – Jagat (1290m) 6 to 7hrs.

Today, after breakfast Along the Budhi Gandaki River, you will continue on the trek. The Manaslu Circuit Trek route travels through Khorlabesi, ascending and descending at small altitudes, until arriving at Tatopani, a hot spring. You will be amazed by the breathtaking scenery at Doban, Thulo Dunga, and Yaru Bagar as you traverse a mountain and cross the Budhi Gandaki River.The path twists and turns across the river, passing across multiple suspension bridges until arriving at the Manaslu Conservation Area’s entrance gate, where you will register your permits at a police checkpoint in Jagat. To go to Jagat, you will have to ascend up in height, which will affect your perspective and vegetation. Langur Monkeys may appear unexpectedly during your jungle walk. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 05

Jagat – Deng(1860m) 7 to 8hrs.

Today, after breakfast our trek starts over a stony ridge, with a glimpse of Sringi Himal in the distance. You will voyage via Salleri, Sirdibas, and Ghatta Khola before arriving at Philim, a Gurung settlement. Then, via Ekle Bhatti, your Manaslu Circuit Trek Route will go to Nyak village, crossing the Budhi Gandaki River twice over suspension bridges.  After crossing Eklee Bhatti, the route now enters a steep, uninhabited gorge. We will cross the Budhi Gandaki. The trail passes through bamboo forests before it reaches Deng Khola. Upon crossing the Khola, we reach the tiny village of Deng.

Day 06

Deng – Namrung(2630m) 7 to 8hrs.

Today, after breakfast our Manaslu Circuit Trek will begin in Deng and proceed up to Rana and Bihi Phedi, passing a suspension bridge across the Budhi Gandaki River. We will reach bur village after this village we have to walk landslide area than we arrived at Ghap and Gyapsa village. So, in this area walk carefully. This trek will climb steadily and pass through a variety of woodlands and mani stones before arriving in the lovely hamlet of Ghap.  After that, you will go to Ghapsya, taking in the spectacular vistas of Shringi Himal along the route. at Ghapsya, so be careful. You will rise to Namrung by following the river and crossing it many times through the forest and gompas.

Day 07

Namrung – Syala (3500m) 6hrs.      

You will hike a difficult trail through a forested region from Namrung to Lihi, with beautiful vistas of mountains such as Saula Himal, Pangkar Himal, Kutang Himal, and Pangbuche Himal. Beautiful chortens and barley fields, as well as a sight of the Manaslu Himal, can be seen from Lihi. As your Manaslu Circuit Trekking trail progresses, you will notice a shift in the vegetation and meet more Buddhists. You will reach shyala village after going via Sho,Lho Village, where you can observe Punggen Glacier.

Day 08

Shyala – Pungyen Gompa(4000m) – Samagaun (3520m) 6hrs

Today, we will wake up early in the morning for beautiful sun rise view on the top of Mount Manaslu. After breakfast we will ascending to Pungyen Gompa passing alpine forest. We take an easy walk-through pine and rhododendron forests. We then ascend towards Punggen Monastery, which sits at the base of Mt. Manaslu, offering a 360° view of surrounding peaks like Manaslu, Hiuchuli, Nadi Chuli (Peak 29) and Rani Peak. It is named after Manaslu; Pungyen means bracelet, a good description of the two peaks. After capturing the breathtaking scenery, we descend and continue to Samagaon.

Day 09

Explore Samagaun and Manaslu Bascamp (4800m) 8 to 9hrs.

Today, after breakfast, we will hike to Manaslu Base Camp.The trail starts in the forest near Samagaun, then ascends steeply above the Manaslu glacier. You’ll pass by Birendra Lake, enjoying increasingly spectacular views of the glacier, turquoise lake, and surrounding mountains. The final part of the climb is the steepest, on a slippery moraine trail. It will take 8 to 9 hours to reach and back to samagaun. The base camp is a stunning location surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and glaciers. It’s a great place to witness the start of Manaslu expeditions and appreciate the raw beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 10

Samagaun – Samdo (3840m) 3 to4hrs.

Today, after breakfast, we will have to ascend steeply on an isolated trail. Manaslu Circuit Trekking trail will take you along the Budhi Gandaki River and through a lovely woodland with Rhododendron, Juniper, and Birch trees. The valley widens before approaching Kermo Kharka and the white Kani Gateway. The path’s attractiveness is enhanced by the mani walls that border it. As you continue, you will reach Samdo, which is near by the Tibetan border. Mt. Manaslu, Simnang Himal, Ngadi Chuli, Manaslu glacier, Manaslu icefall, and other Himalayan peaks can all be seen from here, as well as a Tibetan refugee community.

Day 11

Sando – Dharmasala (4480m)4 to 5 hrs.

After breakfast, we will trek towards Dharamshala. We will cross the wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki and cross two streams. We will see the Larkya Glacier as we go around the valley of the Salka Khola the walk is short and pleasant. On the way to Dharamshala, if you are lucky, you could see Himalayan blue sheep. Peaks like Jarkya Himal, Nysing Himal, and Lajyung Himal, as well as glaciers like Fukang Glaciers, Larkya Glacier, Syacha Glacier, Yamnang Glacier, and Manaslu Glacier, can all be seen from Dharamshala.

Day 12

Dharmasala – Larkya top (5106m) - Bhimthang (3800m)

Today we wake up early in the morning for the most anticipated day of the Manaslu Circuit Trek is when you will pass Larkya La Pass (5106m), the trek’s highest point. Cho Chanda will be climbed first, followed by a gradual ascent to the high snow-covered pass. From the summit, the panoramic views of the mountains are simply breathtaking. The Himlung, Cheo, Gyagi Kung, Kang Koru, and Annapurna II are just a few of the snow-capped Himalayas you will see. After that, it’s a hard drop across moraines to Bhimphedi. From Bhimphedi, visitors may see glaciers like Dobhan, Purdi, and Ponkar, as well as small lakes like Ponkar and Nayamlo.

Day 13

Bhimthang – Tilche (2,300m) 6hrs

After breakfast enjoying the splendid views of the mountains from a ridge in Bhimtang, we make our way down towards a high pasture and then a bridge over Dudh Khola. rhododendron woodland, with views of Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal, and Cheo Himal. First and foremost, after passing Dobhan and Purdi Khola, you will descend from Bimthang to Hampuk hamlet. Then, on your way to Gho Village, you will travel through Yak Kharka and Kharche, as well as the magnificent streams Soti Khola and Kasongto Khola. After crossing Gho village following the bank of the river, you will finally arrive at Tiliche.

Day 14

Tilje – Dharapani – Besisahar (820m)

After breakfast, we move in a stone paved path passing through a beautiful village and then cross a bridge over Dudh Khola, move past an arch and Mani walls to get to the Thonje village. After passing through police checkpoint, we make our way towards Dharapani from where we enter the Annapurna circuit section. Then Finally, we will say your goodbyes to Dharapani and board a shared jeep to Besi Sahar. You will take home lifelong memories as well as photographs of some of the world’s most beautiful mountains.

Day 15

Drive back to Kathmandu(1400m) 5 to 6 hrs

After completing this wonderful Manaslu Trek, we today drive back to Kathmandu in private vehicle. The drive is bumpy in the beginning but gets pleasant after a while.
